ISO 45001 – Health & Safety
ISO 45001 is the internationally recognised standard for the management of Occupational Health and Safety. It was developed in response to industry demand for a standardised health and safety management system standard which could be externally assessed and certified. ISO 45001 isn’t a legislative requirement, but it does enable organisations to identify pertinent legislation, control risks and improve performance.
ISO 45001 adopts the Annex SL structure, making it straightforward to integrate with other management system standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
ISO 45001 has evolved from and replaces OHSAS 18001.
